Authentic Eames Segmented Base Table by Herman Miller – Rare Teal & White | c.1960s
An exceptional and rare example of the iconic Segmented Base Table, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958.
While the segmented base system is a staple of mid-century modern design, known for its intelligent modularity and architectural silhouette, it is highly unusual to find examples in this striking teal colourway.
The table features a pristine white laminate top that contrasts beautifully against the matching teal lacquered metal base. The colour is vibrant and distinct, suggesting a specific contract order or a rare production run from the 1960s era.
This piece balances the functional durability Herman Miller is famous for with a playful, sophisticated aesthetic. It would serve perfectly as a statement dining table or a creative meeting table for a studio space.
Condition:
This piece is in great vintage condition. The white laminate tabletop is clean mark free, and well-preserved. The teal steel base shows minor surface scratches and patina consistent with age and use, which does not detract from the overall excellent presentation of the piece.

Diameter: ⌀ 140 cm
