Known for its elegant, stackable form, the Classic has been a favorite among architects for decades, prized for its ability to adapt to both refined residential and high-end professional interiors. This piece represents true mid-century functionalism, where simple lines meet exceptional durability.

The chair features a 10.5 mm laminated veneer shell, expertly contoured to provide a light yet incredibly sturdy sit. Supported by a minimalist Ø 16 mm steel tube frame, the Classic achieves a weightless aesthetic without sacrificing structural integrity. The deep grain of the outer veneer provides a warm, organic patina and contrast to the industrial chrome frame.

The veneer has been carefully restored to revitalise the timber’s depth while preserving its original character.

While we prefer the authentic aged patina of the metal legs, we are happy to professionally polish the steel frame upon request if a brighter finish is preferred for your space.

The shell is structurally sound with the original flexibility and strength intended by the 1967 design.
