Restored Parker Dining Chairs in Teak | Model 62
A classic set of four Model 62 dining chairs manufactured by Parker Furniture. A staple of Australian mid century modern design, these chairs have been fully restored to a high standard and are ready for a new home.
These chairs represent the height of 1960s Australian mid-century design. The solid teak timber frames and legs have been meticulously stripped and refinished in a premium hardwax oil. This trade quality finish highlights the rich, honeyed tones of the teak while providing a durable, matte surface that is much more practical for daily dining than traditional lacquer.
Restoration and Comfort
To ensure these chairs last another sixty years, we have completely overhauled the internals. All old materials were removed and replaced with brand new webbing and high-quality foam for peak support.
The upholstery is Warwick Eastwood Slate. It provides the authentic look and textured feel of aged leather but with modern durability. Warwick's Halo easy clean fabrics are exceptionally hard-wearing and easy to maintain, making it the perfect choice for a busy dining room or kitchen.
