We sell rare and designer pieces on behalf of their owners. Send us photos, and we will tell you what you have, what it should sell for, and whether we are the right people to sell it.

RESTORATION INCLUDED

The restoration is on us

Before anything is listed, we identify it properly, price it against what comparable pieces have actually sold for, restore it, photograph it and write it up. Timber, finish, upholstery and hardware are all done here before the piece goes live.

A chair described as Danish teak sells like Danish teak. Restored and described as a Johannes Andersen for CFC Silkeborg, it sells for what it is.

From there, it goes in front of people already looking for it. Collectors, interior designers and stylists, through our own site and the dealer platforms they watch. That is usually the difference between a good price and the right one.

Submit a piece

Send us photos, whatever you know about where it came from, and any labels or stamps. Look underneath and inside the drawers, because that is usually where the maker is. We will come back within a week with an honest assessment.

Restore & advertise

We restore where it is needed at our cost, photograph the piece properly, research it and write it up. Then it goes live alongside the rest of the Fox & Wedge collection.

Sale & settlement

We sell on commission, as agreed with you before anything is listed. Once a piece sells and ships, we deposit the funds into your account.
Criteria

A few things we look for

Mid-century originals, Danish, European or American, with a maker we can identify.

Contemporary Danish design from houses such as Carl Hansen, Fritz Hansen, Fredericia and &Tradition

Australian makers such as Parker, Fler, Featherston and Chiswell

Solid timber and quality veneers in teak, rosewood and oak

We do turn pieces away regularly, not because they are not loved, but because the right person for them is not always us.
