An exceptional, matched set of six authentic mid-century Eames Pivot Side Chairs (PSC) for Herman Miller.

Sourced directly from a one-owner home, this set represents a rare opportunity to secure a complete collection that has remained together since the 1960s.

The Design

These chairs feature the iconic original moulded fiberglass shells mounted on the classic Eames "Contract Base." This robust design features a black steel column rising from a four-star polished aluminum base with adjustable glides. The original swivel mechanisms are intact, offering a smooth and functional rotation.

Alexander Girard Upholstery

The set retains its original, wonderfully preserved burnt orange tweed upholstery.  The Alexander Girard fabric weave presents a sophisticated interplay of orange and green tones, adding vibrant texture and mid-century warmth to any interior.

Condition & Authenticity

These chairs are verified authentic, with stamps and original patent stickers present. They are in very good vintage condition. The swivel mechanisms work perfectly, and while the fiberglass shells and metal bases may show very minor age-appropriate patina and wear, the upholstery presents beautifully and is ready for immediate use.
