Description

Stamped with original patent stickers, this set of six Eames Pivot Side Chairs for Herman Miller retains its original Alexander Girard fabric upholstery, sourced from a single-owner home and kept together as a matched set since the 1960s.

The moulded fibreglass shells sit on Herman Miller's Contract Base, a black steel column rising from a four-star polished aluminium base with adjustable glides. The swivel mechanism is original and turns smoothly on all six chairs. The burnt orange and green Girard weave adds genuine warmth and texture against the industrial base.

Very good vintage condition. The bases show light, age-appropriate patina, and the upholstery remains vibrant with no fading or wear.

Sold as a set of six.
