Norman Archibald 'Nore' Dining Table in Victorian Ash, Refinished Top, c1978

$2,095.00 AUD
Description

Norman Archibald founded Nore Furniture in Bayswater, Victoria in the early 1970s, and this dining table carries the clean lines and robust build that defined his work there. Nore's place in Australian design history is genuine; the National Gallery of Victoria holds a Nore lounge chair and ottoman in its permanent collection, and pieces from this period are increasingly sought after.

Handcrafted in Melbourne from solid Victorian Ash, the expansive top has been professionally refinished, bringing out the timber's natural grain and warmth while keeping the build's original character intact.

A matching set of six 'Nore' leather chairs is also available to accompany the table; get in touch for details or pricing.

Dimensions: 183cm wide, 85cm deep, 73cm high.

Available to view in our Torquay studio.
