Description
Peter Brown designed this armchair for TH Brown in South Australia, and the sculpted armrests are the detail that sets it apart. They are slim and gently angled, which gives the chair a light, open profile.
The frame is generously proportioned, and the seat and back are covered in a textured Warwick wool, in a flecked blue green weave, over new foam throughout. Warwick is an Australian fabric house, and the soft colour sits well against the warm timber of the frame.
The chair has been restored and is ready for daily use.
Dimensions: width 56 cm, depth 52 cm, height 75 cm. Seat height 45 cm, armrest height 68 cm. The 68 cm armrest height means it slides under most desks and dining tables, so it works as a desk chair, a bedroom chair or an extra place at the table.
