Produced by the renowned Czech furniture manufacturer UP Zavody Rousinov in the 1970s, the Peggy chair is a brilliant example of Eastern European mid century design. It features a highly inviting and organic shape that sits on a sleek four point chrome swivel base. UP Zavody was celebrated for its robust construction and innovative aesthetic, creating seating that perfectly balanced sharp style with deep comfort.

Condition

This piece presents in exceptional, all original condition with very minor signs or age and wear commensurate with age. The stunning ribbed mustard yellow velvet upholstery is completely original and has been thoroughly steam cleaned to look its absolute best. The internal foam has been replaced at some stage and is in excellent shape, offering a highly comfortable and supportive seat. The chrome swivel base operates smoothly, showing minor signs of patina after a light polish. The entire chair has been carefully inspected and prepared to excellent vintage standards.
