Danish Two Door Sideboard in Teak, c. 1960
Description
A teak veneer body, a subtle solid teak lipped edge and tapered oak legs make up this Danish sideboard from around 1960.
The body is teak veneer, with the grain running cleanly across the long doors, and the top is edged in a slim strip of solid teak that protects the veneer and gives the outline a crisp line. The legs are tapered oak, a pale contrast to the teak that lifts the case clear of the floor. Two doors open to a spacious interior with one adjustable shelf, which can be moved to suit tall bottles, records or stacked linen.
Professionally restored, in excellent condition. May show minor traces of age.
Dimensions: 136 cm W x 70 cm H x 48.5 cm D. At 136 cm wide it suits a smaller dining room, a hallway or a lounge wall, and at 70 cm high the top sits low enough for a mirror or artwork above.
