Description

Designed by Norman Archibald for Nore Furniture, this set of six dining chairs (four side chairs and two carvers) is built from solid Victorian alpine ash, with exposed timber dowel joinery.

The seats and backs are separate slings of saddle-stitched Howe leather, fastened to the frame with visible studs. The leather has developed a deep oxblood patina over more than four decades of use.

From a single owner who purchased the set in 1978. Excellent vintage condition.
