Description

Bruno Gecchelin designed these chrome desk lamps for Meblo in the late 1980s, and they are sold here as a matching pair. Each one is drawn as a single line of polished metal: a domed chrome base, a slim stem that rises and bends at the top, and a round head that tilts to direct the light.

The head is a shallow chrome disc with vents across the top to release heat, and a small toggle switch sits in the edge of the base. Gecchelin, a Milanese designer, also worked for Guzzini and Oluce. Meblo made this model in Yugoslavia.

Excellent vintage condition, the chrome has been polished and shows very minor marks for their age. Both lamps have been tested and tagged, are fitted with Australian plugs, and come with warm white halogen bulbs.

Each lamp is 60 cm high with an 18.5 cm base. Halogen bulb, maximum 60 W.
