Italian Spindle Back Armchair in Cherry with Black Vinyl Seat

Curved from solid cherrywood, this Italian cafe armchair has a lacquered timber frame, a fan of spindles in the back and a new black vinyl seat.

The frame follows a bentwood style silhouette common to Italian cafe seating of the period, with a continuous curved back rail that wraps into the arms and slim, tapered legs. The spindles fan out across the back, keeping the chair light to look at and easy to see through in a small room. The vinyl has been newly upholstered, so the only ageing on show is in the timber itself.

Very good vintage condition.

Dimensions: 54.5 cm W x 54 cm D x 80 cm H, with a seat height of 47 cm. Priced individually; two are available, so you can buy one or the pair. They suit a kitchen table, a compact dining setting or either side of a small round table.

The black vinyl is hard wearing and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Wipe the timber with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
