A gorgeous example of Australian Mid-Century Modern design, this is the classic Model 119 Carver Chair by Parker Furniture.

Part of the celebrated 'Nordic' range produced in Sydney during the 1960s, this piece is defined by its signature sculpted cat's eye armrests and elegantly tapered legs.

​The frame has been treated to a full professional restoration by Fox & Wedge, stripping away old varnish to reveal the beautiful, warm grain of the solid teak. Uniquely, this chair retains its original olive green vinyl upholstery. It is rare to find the original casing in such well-preserved condition, offering a truly authentic slice of 1960s interior style.

​Perfect as a statement desk chair or a standalone accent piece, this chair combines Tony Parker's renowned ergonomic design with robust Australian craftsmanship.

​Condition:

Excellent restored vintage condition. The teak frame is structural sound, smooth, and finished with a durable hardwax oil. The original vinyl upholstery has been cleaned and conditioned; it remains soft and pliable with only very minor age-appropriate marks, preserving its vintage authenticity.
