Description

Tomás Diaz Magro designed the Torpedo desk lamp for the Spanish manufacturer Fase Madrid in 1969, patented that year and one of the brand's most recognisable models since.

The elongated head pairs a warm, grained wood central band against a white lacquered metal shade and base, with a polished chrome articulated arm that lets the light be directed precisely. Fase built its reputation on this kind of contrast, organic material set against industrial form, and the Torpedo is one of the designs collectors return to first.

Excellent vintage condition. Professionally tested and ready for use in Australian homes (240V).
