Description

Resting on its original cast aluminium four-star base, this executive swivel armchair was made by Artes Studio in Sydney during the early 1980s.

Artes Studio was a significant name in Australian commercial furniture from the 1960s through the 1980s, known for pairing corporate-grade construction with genuine design intent rather than treating office seating as an afterthought. This chair has been reupholstered in a Warwick textured fabric with a blue and grey weave, chosen to sit well against the polished aluminium base and the chair's clean lines. The swivel mechanism moves smoothly and the base has been polished to its original finish.

Excellent restored condition, with only minor age-appropriate wear to the aluminium frame.
