An exceptional piece of Australian design history, this executive swivel armchair was produced in the early 1980s by the esteemed Artes Studio, Sydney.

It offers a refined silhouette that bridges the gap between high-end corporate seating and comfortable lounge furniture.


About the Maker: Artes Studio


Artes Studio was a significant and influential force in the Australian design landscape, particularly prominently from the 1960s through the 1980s. Restoration 
We have fully restored this piece, introducing brand-new plush upholstery in a premium textured fabric. The material features a sophisticated weave of blue and grey tones, providing a tactile richness that complements the chair's clean lines.


The seat rests on its original cast aluminium 4-star base, which has been polished to a high shine. With a smooth swivel mechanism and fresh cushioning, this chair is ready to serve as a statement piece in a study, office, or living space.

Condition:
Excellent restored condition. The upholstery is brand new. The vintage aluminium frame has been polished and presents beautifully, with only minor signs of age-appropriate wear.
