Aurélien Barbry for Le Klint Caché 355 Floor Lamp in Grey
Description
Aurélien Barbry designed the Caché for Le Klint in 2014, and model 355 is the floor lamp from the range: a grey metal shade hung from a slim angled arm, with Le Klint's hand folded pleated shade set inside it.
Caché is French for hidden. From across the room the lamp reads as a plain grey shade on a fine steel stem, and the white pleats only show when you look up into it, where they soften the bulb into an even, warm light. A small brass detail marks the point where the shade meets the arm, and the stem rises from a flat, round steel base. Le Klint has folded its shades by hand in Denmark since the company was founded in 1943.
Dimensions: 130 cm high, with a 30 cm diameter shade. Takes an E27 bulb, and Le Klint recommends a warm LED of around 600 lumens. It suits a reading chair or the end of a sofa.
