Description

Designed in 1973 by Norman Archibald and made in Melbourne by Nore Furniture, this lounge chair pairs a solid Victorian alpine ash frame with a sling-suspended leather seat and back in a very dark aubergine, almost black.

Nore's place in Australian design history is genuine — the National Gallery of Victoria holds a Nore lounge chair and ottoman in its permanent collection.

Restored. Excellent vintage condition.
