Designed in 1973 by Norman Archibald and crafted right here in Melbourne by Nore Furniture, this is one of our favourite designer lounge chairs of all time. The striking lines of the solid Victorian Alpine Ash frame are perfectly balanced by rich, glove soft leather in a very dark, almost black aubergine.

 

The clever slung leather suspension design isn't just for style - it's what makes this chair so incredibly comfortable. It hugs you just right, making it the perfect spot to get lost in a book or just kick back and relax. It's no wonder @ngvmelbourne added it to their collection a year after it was made. We always seem to collect and restore Nore pieces for their high quality and a love of their designs.

 

A stunning collector's piece that stands the test of time, both in its design and its feel.
