Laurens van Wieringen for De Vorm 'LJ2' Stacking Chairs in Dark Grey PET Felt

These LJ2 stacking chairs were designed by Laurens van Wieringen for the Dutch furniture house De Vorm, in dark grey PET felt on a white powder-coated steel frame.

Like the LJ1 armchair, the shell is pressed from recycled PET bottles in a single moulded process, giving the seat a soft, felted texture along with real acoustic dampening, genuinely useful in an open-plan dining or meeting space rather than a decorative claim. The frame wraps around the back in one continuous line and allows the chairs to stack for easy storage, built more for everyday, multi-purpose use than the armchair is. The dark grey reads close to charcoal in most light, a quieter, more grounded option against the white frame than the lighter colourway.

These chairs are in excellent, like-new condition, having previously been used for a display home photo shoot rather than everyday seating.

Dimensions: 78.5cm high, 57cm wide, 57cm deep, seat height 42cm, seat depth 37cm, 6.6kg each.
