Friso Kramer Revolt Armchair for Ahrend De Cirkel, 1960s
Designed by Friso Kramer in 1953, the Revolt chair is a celebrated classic of Dutch industrial design. Produced by Ahrend De Cirkel in the 1960s, this rare armchair variant features Kramer's highly innovative folded sheet steel frame, offering incredible structural strength alongside a sleek, slender profile.
This piece has undergone a complete restoration in our Torquay workshop to ensure it is ready for decades of daily use. The seat and backrest have been stripped back, fitted with brand new premium high-density foam, and freshly reupholstered in Warwick Buckley Sunrise. This gorgeous textured weave brings a warm, vibrant pop of colour that contrasts beautifully against the industrial frame.
Renowned for its superb ergonomics, the Revolt frame flexes slightly with the user, making it an exceptionally comfortable option for a home office desk, studio seating, or a feature corner.
