When caring for restored timber and vintage leather furniture, having the right cloth makes all the difference. These natural bamboo cloths from Gillys are exactly what you need to keep your mid-century pieces looking their best without scratching the delicate surface.

Measuring 26cm by 26cm, they are perfectly sized for working with all of our furniture care products. We supply these in a practical pack of two because proper maintenance is almost always a two-part process. You will need one clean cloth to apply your product, and a separate fresh cloth to carefully buff away the excess.

What to use them with

• Carnauba and Beeswax Polish: If your timber surface is already perfectly smooth, use one cloth to spread the wax sparingly in a circular motion. Always use a second, clean cloth to vigorously buff the wax and reveal a beautiful hard sheen.

• Natural Beeswax Leather Care: Perfect for gently massaging our nourishing leather paste into worn vintage sofas or chairs, then buffing away the excess so the surface is not left sticky.

• Timber Oils: Ideal for applying and wiping back liquid oils when you need to hydrate dry timber.

Please note that because they are made from natural fibres, these cloths will shrink slightly when you wash them in warm soapy water. This is completely normal and will not change how well they perform for your next maintenance day.
