This vintage Easy chair combines the sleek, architectural lines of industrial modernism with artisanal finishing. It is a sophisticated, verified collector's item that offers both history and modern comfort.

We have moved beyond standard methods for this restoration to ensure longevity and a superior finish.

The Frame: The original steel rod frame retains its vintage satin black finish. We have deeply cleaned and hand-waxed the steel, sealing the surface to prevent oxidation and giving the frame a subtle, protective sheen.

The Timber: The solid timber armrests have been professionally refinished using traditional Shellac. We chose this labour-intensive, artisanal finish to unlock the timber's true depth, creating a rich, warm lustre and a silky tactile feel that modern sprays cannot replicate.

Upholstery: Professionally reupholstered in a heavy-weave Rich Teal fabric, a deep jewel tone selected to contrast beautifully against the waxed black steel and warm timber. Internally rebuilt with brand new high-density foam for longevity and comfort.

Excellent restored condition. Frame is structurally sound and protected with wax; timber arms are freshly polished/shellacked; upholstery is brand new.
