Orange Enamel Adjustable Desk Lamp, c. 1970s

Gloss orange enamel covers every part of this 1970s spring balanced desk lamp, from the cone shade to the weighted round base.

The arm works on the counterbalanced spring principle made famous by the Anglepoise, so the shade holds its position wherever it is set: angled low over a desk, turned up to bounce light off a wall, or folded down beside a reading chair. The springs sit in sleeves at the foot of the arm, and a white inner reflector softens the light from the bulb.

Condition: Good vintage condition with minor marks commensurate with age. Tested and tagged, ready for use in Australia. Dimensions: 55 x 45 x 17cm
