Description

Designed by Dennis Marquart for Danish design house OX Denmarq, the Prop Bar Stool combines an industrial steel frame with the natural texture of cork. This example features a distinctive natural cork seat paired with a satin orange powder-coated frame, creating a bold yet restrained piece of Scandinavian furniture.

Originally known for its leather seat, the Prop's cork variation brings a different character to the design, with a durable textured surface that develops its own patina over time. The structurally simple frame features two parallel horizontal tubes with raised side bars that provide an integrated footrest.

In excellent vintage condition with minimal wear, this Danish designer bar stool is suited to kitchen islands, workshop benches, and bar tables. Available to view at the Fox & Wedge Torquay studio.
