Description
Sir Gerald Kelly (1879–1972), who later served as President of the Royal Academy, painted Princess Saw Ohn Nyun of the Shan States over thirty times in the early 1900s. This lithograph reproduction of that portrait was popular home decor through the 1960s in Australia and the UK.
Housed in the original textured gold timber frame.
Very good vintage condition. Colours remain warm and true, with only light signs of the frame's age. Minor marks and blemishes consistent with age.
