Set of Six Parker Model 118 Slab Back Dining Chairs in Teak and Pale Grey Leather, c. 1960s
Description
Six Parker Model 118 chairs in teak, upholstered in pale grey leather, make a dining setting that feels both light and generous: broad seats, wide slab backs and slim tapered legs that keep the room open around the table.
Parker Furniture brought Scandinavian lines to Australian homes from its Regents Park factory in the 1960s, and the 118 is one of its most comfortable dining chairs, built for long dinners rather than quick meals. The pale grey leather is a soft, cool neutral against the warm teak.
This set is offered on presale while it is restored in our workshop, and it will be ready for collection or delivery once the work is complete. Ask us for the expected date. The leather was reupholstered previously and is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: 46 cm W x 46 cm D x 86 cm H, approximately. Sold as a set of six.
Care for the leather with a soft, slightly damp cloth, and a conditioner such as Guardian Leather Conditioner once or twice a year.
