Fler Norsk D-71 'Surfboard Back' Three Seater Sofa

The D-71 Norsk Divan, designed by Fred Lowen for Fler, is a standout piece of Australian mid-century design. The solid teak frame has been fully restored and finished in a premium, eco-friendly hardwax oil. This treatment protects the timber while maintaining a natural, matte feel that highlights the organic grain.

The sofa has been professionally reupholstered in Levanzo Passata by Linia. Made in Italy, this wool blend fabric represents a modernised take on traditional boucle. The Passata colourway offers a rich, earthy palette that embodies mid-century charm while the bubble wool finish provides a cutting-edge look for contemporary interiors. It is incredibly soft to the touch yet rated for heavy commercial use, ensuring the restoration is as durable as it is beautiful.
