Danish Heron Sculptures in Teak, c. 1960

Slender legs and long, reaching necks give these two Danish herons their mid stride pose, carved by hand from solid teak around 1960.

Carved birds like these sat on sideboards and bookshelves in many Danish homes during the 1960s, and they suit a shelf or side table today.

Each heron measures 30 cm high and 4.5 cm wide. Sold as a pair.
