&Tradition In Between SK8 Counter Stools in Smoke Oiled Oak & Leather

&Tradition is a highly regarded Danish design house celebrated for bridging Nordic heritage with contemporary innovation. Designed in 2017 by Sami Kallio, the In Between SK8 stool is deeply inspired by the Scandinavian heritage of furniture craftsmanship. The series started with a single chair and is a direct result of Kallio having a solid grounding in traditional woodworking techniques alongside an eye for ingenious detail.

Kallio utilised compression moulding and woodturning to create the sweeping crescent shaped back and armrest, providing incredible ergonomic support while the gaps in the backrest give the design a light and airy feel. Crafted from FSC certified smoke oiled oak, these pieces support responsible environmental management of the world forests. They also hold the EU Ecolabel certification, validating their high standards of durability, circular design, and responsible use of chemicals.

Condition

Each stool presents in excellent condition. The premium black leather seat is in very good condition with a light patina, and the solid smoke oiled oak frames are completely stable and structurally perfect. They feature felt gliders installed as standard and have been carefully inspected and restored to excellent condition.
